DALLAS – Jenny is in the spotlight again at the Dallas Zoo. She now has a new roommate. The elephant’s name is Gypsy.

Last year, Jenny’s old roommate died of heart failure. Then came the outcry from a group of citizens criticizing the Zoo’s accommodations.

More than a year of being alone, Jenny welcomes Gypsy. Jenny shares her food by extending an elm branch. It seems to be a sign, Jenny is getting along with her new roommate.
