   Absolutely precious. Thank you so much for posting this. Made my day. I fell in love with sea otters when I first saw footage of them in a wildlife documentary – they were filmed off the California coast in the middle of a forest of giant kelp. A sea otter had just woken up from a nap and was rubbing its cute little black button eyes with its little paws. It had cleverly avoided drifting out into the open sea while asleep by deliberately wrapping its tail in the giant kelp fronds. Smart huh? It then used a rock to break open a clam. Why did we ever imagine that we were the only ones who could use tools? Sheer human vanity.
