A TERRIFIED puppy was found running into the grounds of a factory after it was cruelly tossed from a car in Birmingham.

RSPCA animal welfare officer Boris Lasserre and two passing police officers managed to rescue the lurcher-type pup after it was thrown onto Montpelier Road, Erdington, in December.

He was then homed with Birmingham Animal Centre which was named the seventh top branch in the country, rehoming 1,257 animals, including 280 dogs and 719 cats.
