CHICAGO (STMW) – A firefighter performed CPR on a puppy and dog pulled from a fire Friday afternoon in the Bucktown neighborhood, bringing both back to life.
Chicago Fire Dept. firefighter Tammy Rodriguez responded to the fire on the back porch of a home at 1834 N. Wood St. about 3 p.m. and pulled two dogs from the blaze — an adult dog and a puppy, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Will Knight said.
“She rescued two dogs, performed CPR on them and brought both of them back to life,” Knight said.
