PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Humane Society seized more than 30 animals Wednesday that were living in deplorable conditions at a breeding facility in Canby.

Among the 35 dogs, a duck with a deformed leg was also rescued.

Several of the dogs are pregnant, most are malnourished and many are fighting a virus. It could take weeks to get them healthy.

The animals were taken from a rural property on South Elisha Road and include 11 Golden Retrievers, 11 Coton de Tulears and a Samoyed.
