An anonymous benefactor wants to see Miles Thomas reunited with his collie, Baron, and is willing to pay for it.
In a letter filed today in federal court, attorney William T. Tully said he has a client willing to cover the dog’s vet bills, its food, as well as any reasonable expenses that the Human Society of Harrisburg Area incurred in seizing the dog on July 26 in Middletown.

“My client desires to remain anonymous, but has authorized me to extend this offer,” Tully wrote. “He is prepared to place funds immediately in escrow if necessary. Moreover, he has authorized me to attend any hearing in order to convey this information to the Court.” Tully’s letter did not mention a specific amount the donor was willing to give.
