A HORSE stuck in a lake in Colney Heath was rescued after a two-hour battle yesterday morning.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have made a financial donation to an Indio-based horse rescue organization, it was announced today.
The donation will help the Coachella Valley Mounted Rangers shelter horses, said Annette Garcia, the organization’s spokeswoman.
