Exotic Bird Makes Home In Steel Yard

Officials at Baltimore Steel near Brogue, in York County aren’t sure where the bird came from.

But an adult peacock has taken up residence there amid the I-beams and semi trucks, the York Daily Record reported.

It’s not clear where the peacock originated, or who owns it. Or if it’s a male or female.

Workers have fed it and now it appears less willing to leave.

One worker plans to drive around and try to find the rightful owner, if there is any nearby.

For now the bird seems contented to stay where it is.
