In Audubon Connecticut, it seems that this park was identified as an important bird area for thousands of raptors and land birds that pass over the area in migration each fall.
Amazing how creatures can adapt isn’t it? An important bird area in the middle of a big city like New Haven!
The plan was developed in association with the New Haven Bird Club (in New Havan), and the Butterfly Association (Connecticut), and will include an inventory of the park’s natural resources and a list of conservation goals and recommendations.
